Michael Bennett and Family To Donate $25,000 to Victims of Hurricane Harvey

The Bennett Foundation

Michael Bennett has pledged to donate $25,000 to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, a tropical depression which resulted in the highest recorded volume of rainfall in the history of the continental United States. Thousands have been evacuated from the Houston area, over 45,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed, and 39 deaths have already been confirmed.

Michael grew up in Houston, attended Alief Taylor High School, and eventually went on to play college football for Texas A&M with his brother Martellus. He is devastated by the damage Hurricane Harvey has caused to his hometown and is encouraging fellow Seahawks players, friends, and fans to join in the effort.

To aid in the city’s recovery, The Bennett Foundation will be working to provide supplies and relief to those in need. Our hearts are with those in Houston, and we will do everything we can to help the community get back on its feet.

Please join us in supporting the people of Houston in their time of need and donate to the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
