Positive attitude month is here! Attempting to live a positive lifestyle can be very challenging at times, but it’s well-known that having positive lifestyle habits builds a positive attitude, leading to a happy life!  

The Bennett Foundation is providing five simple tips on how to live a positive lifestyle: 

  1. Always keep your cup half full! Take the optimistic viewpoint no matter how negative the situation may seem. Ask yourself, “what is the good in this situation?” and don’t forget, there is no such thing as a life that’s better than yours! 
  2. Don’t shy away from a challenge. As the great Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy,” tough times build character, growth, and  lead to a successful life.
  3. Find a new hobby. Sometimes this is easier said than done, but the truth is, hobbies can calm us down, make life better, and help us wind down after a long day. What’s more, learning new skills can help explore another line of work! 
  4. Create your own happiness. Happiness isn’t always found in places, things, or people. People that live a positive lifestyle recognize this and understand living a positive lifestyle is a choice, not a result.  
  5.
