Michael Visits Athletes for Impact

The Bennett Foundation

Earlier this summer Michael Bennett joined Athletes for Impact, (A4I) an advocacy group comprised of athletes who have openly taken a stand on social issues.

Bennett connected with the group to answer a few questions & talk about his new book titled, “Things That Make White People Uncomfortable,” a sports book for the turbulent times, a memoir, and a manifesto as hilarious and engaging as it is illuminating.

Like the vision of The Bennett Foundation, A4I is a platform that connects athletes with communities to positively transform America. “Whether I die tomorrow or in sixty years, if the only things about me that people talk about are the Pro Bowls & the Super Bowl appearances, I will have failed,” stated Bennett.

What’s more, Bennett’s goal at the end of the day is to be an athlete that has an impact. Honored by the people of A4I for his activism, his philanthropic work, his commitment to support marginalized communities, his feminist stance and his giant heart. It is The Bennett Foundation’s goal to close gaps and ensure that children and families are empowered and being recognized by A4I was a huge honor.

We want to thank the wonderful people of Athletes for Impact for having Michael be a part of group with shared values and common goals.
